News-

 Good and Bad

 News is something we have everyday,
whether it is something that we watch
online or on the television, or
something that we hear
from someone we know
face to face or on our mobile.

There are many sources for receiving news;
we may watch one or more
perhaps click on a link to a news story
we may find interesting.

News that we hear may be of something
or someone that we know;
we ourselves could also have news to
share with others.

The question with news though
is whether it is good and bad.
Most of the news that we read
and watch generally
centres upon bad or potentially
bad or disturbing news.

Good news is something that
we perhaps like to hear
for ourselves, the bad
we like to hear about
possibly to stay in touch
with what is happening.

We though as Christians have
the greatest news of all,
the news of the cross,
which at first to the disciples
seemed like bad news
then with the resurrection
and understanding why
he had to die upon the cross.

It then became the best news story
of all time.
We though are the ones
who should tell people
of this news story,
that has many people over the years
giving false news about
this wonderful event.

So let us show in our lives
and share with our mouths this
good news story.

Freedom

Freedom in our lives. When we think of freedom what comes to mind?     Do we think of those imprisoned?  Do we think of Freedom of choice? Do we think of Freedom of speech? Do we think of Freedom in and from troubles? Do we think of Freedom from debt? Do we think of Freedom from sin? Do we think of Freedom in Christ? There are perhaps many different things that come to mind in what many would consider as our day to day living, and also within our Christian walk. Something New

 Do you try anything new?  When a thing is new, it holds interest and can catch the attention of many. Whereas, when something is not new it needs sometimes a new way of doing it, something that will catch peoples' attention once again. What new things catch your attention? This can  be different for many people, a s people have different  interests, likes and dislikes. For some it can be a new car, for others it can be a new house, or possibly  for some it could be a new job. It may also be a new type of food which you have never tasted before, or a new hobby.
