Beauty

 In Many things

 Beauty is something that we can appreciate;
each individual may see this
slightly differently, and also
find this in different things.

What do we see beauty in though?
There is beauty in nature,
we can see this for ourselves, 
either as we are walking,
or possibly just watching
something of it on the television,
our mobile, laptop or computer.

There is beauty in paintings,
beauty in sculptures,
beauty in words that
have been carefully thought
of by authors;
there is beauty in so many things
that we see and that we do.

There is beauty in action,
when one helps another
with something that they are
not able to do themselves.
There is beauty in giving
of our time or money.

There is beauty in us;
God sees this beauty there
as he placed it within us.
We need also to let this beauty
show more
in our actions and also our speech.

This will show to
others the beauty of
God himself.

Listening

 Do people always listen?  One thing that is certain is that people want to be heard. We all want people to listen to what we have to say, whether they are someone that we know well or not. There can of course be many different topics of conversation,  dependant upon your listeners one subject may be more interesting than another to some. But sometimes when an individual is talking, they can tell that the one they are speaking to is not really listening. It could be that they may have other things upon their minds at that time or it could be that they just are not interested in what is said. Within the Church though, can this or does this happen?  When we speak to other Christians within the Church to which we belong, we should expect them to listen. Something New

 Do you try anything new?  When a thing is new, it holds interest and can catch the attention of many. Whereas, when something is not new it needs sometimes a new way of doing it, something that will catch peoples' attention once again. What new things catch your attention? This can  be different for many people, a s people have different  interests, likes and dislikes. For some it can be a new car, for others it can be a new house, or possibly  for some it could be a new job. It may also be a new type of food which you have never tasted before, or a new hobby.
