Something New

 Do you try anything new?

 When a thing is new,
it holds interest and
can catch the attention of many.

Whereas, when something is
not new it needs sometimes
a new way of doing it, something
that will catch peoples' attention
once again.

What new things catch
your attention? This can
be different for many people,
as people have different
interests, likes and dislikes.

For some it can be a new
car, for others it can be
a new house, or possibly
for some it could be
a new job.

It may also be a new type
of food which you have never
tasted before, or a new hobby.

Perhaps a new television or
computer that comes out
catches your attention,
or a new film or song
that has been released.

Within the Church there can
be new things, but also
sometimes it can appear
that there has not been
anything new for some time.

It is of course important to
bring new things and ideas
into the Church, yet also
keep at least some of the
practises that have been
part of the Church for some time.

We must remember that
we always will have the same
message, that will never
change, what sometimes
has to change is
how we present and
bring across this message to others.

This is why we need to
always be at least open
to new fresh ideas of how
this can be done, but
also of how the local
Churches can be noticed and
seen as relevant to all.

This is why we all
must learn not to
fear or reject something new;
it could be that we are
rejecting something new
from God

  1. Yes that is very true and in many churches today there are those who like the old ways but the old ways do not bring the change that the new generation require. To raise up an army of God, awake his people though out the earth, his church needs to wake up and smell the roses. Change and new ideas can bring a new and fresh perspective in this day and age that will catch young peoples attention and bring hem to God.
