Love within Life

Love in Life.  Something that we understand in life is that we actually need love, we appreciate love, and we give love. Love...  Love is essential within our lives; we receive love from many different sources, we also give love ourselves. The love we give is always dependant upon the recipient of that love, as the love we give for one is not always the same as the love given to another. God The love that we receive and give to God is also different from that which we receive from anyone else, though it sometimes for us can be just as complicated, as we know his love is never ending, unconditional and without limit. Yet we do not always perceive this love, we do not always understand this love, and we do not always return this love. Description As we know there are many words, both in the Old Testament in Hebrew and Aramaic, and in the New Testament in Greek that describe the Love of God. Yet what we know we should know and

Bank Holiday Weekends

Days off  One thing that all people look forward to is an extra day off work; they book a long weekend away, or just look forward to an extra days rest.    Spoil The unfortunate thing with looking forward to something is that this can be spoilt by many unforeseen problems, which can, if you have booked a time away, be the weather, the location or possibly the accommodation  One or the other has most likely happened to you.    Looking forward We as Christians sometimes have the same thing in our walk with God. We look forward to things that we, or others have planned, but then something happens to cause us to think that this has been spoilt in some way, possibly by things not going as we imagined.       Keep Looking Forward How we cope with these dashed dreams and experiences, we learn from them and learn not to  have a false expectation of what we hope it will be; we continue to look forwards in working and living for God. In our weeken

Freedom

Freedom in our lives. When we think of freedom what comes to mind?     Do we think of those imprisoned?  Do we think of Freedom of choice? Do we think of Freedom of speech? Do we think of Freedom in and from troubles? Do we think of Freedom from debt? Do we think of Freedom from sin? Do we think of Freedom in Christ? There are perhaps many different things that come to mind in what many would consider as our day to day living, and also within our Christian walk. However, the two really are one, as our whole life is a walk with God. But Freedom is something that for many is elusive.  In one or more of the things mentioned, whether through circumstances or choices made by us or others for us, in jobs, in family, in Government and many more. So how do we live in Freedom completely in our lives? The simple fact is we cannot, due to many reasons; due to sin, mans' desires, circumstances made by our choices or others, and many o
Something New One thing that I have noticed in life is that always when something new presents itself in our day to day life we have a tendency to either fear or embrace whatever it maybe Or perhaps a combination of the two However, as Christians, what should our actual reaction and attitude to such things be?  We still though are human and our immediate response to things does not necessarily always change to perhaps what we think they now should be In our relationship with God we can sometimes live in a negative frame of mind due to us considering that we have failed God in some way and let him down due to not accepting changes in our Christian walk What though I believe we need to understand and realise is that God never has any false impressions of us and never thinks negatively of us either. I think that he does want us to respond to new things as we should, yet when we do not, he does not love us any less My advice is to keep going; when you struggle
