FUTURE

How often do we consider the future?

 This is one thing
that sometimes
people do think
about.

But how often do people
really consider their future?
Is it constantly upon peoples'
minds or hardly at all?

People at times plan
for their futures, they
also plan for their
children's futures as well.

This can be both financial
and also through giving
guidance as well.

Sometimes people have
hopes for their future
which they plan and prepare
for, they have their
hearts set upon this.

Yet is it always
the case, that the things you
plan, prepare and hope for
actually do happen?

Within the context of
the church though, what
plans, hopes or dreams
do you have?

This can be both for yourself
yet also for the
entirety of the Church.

That can mean the Church
to which you belong, the Church
within your nation and also
the worldwide Church.

We have a future with,
and in Christ, this future
is guaranteed. But also we
have a future in Christ
within this life.

It is what we do with our
future; do we work for what
we believe we should do
within the Church and of course for God,
or do we just hope for these things?

If God gives you a desire
within your life for the future,
which at this moment in time
is not yet possible, then this
means he wants you to
prepare, plan and work to
achieve this.

This again can be just for
yourself to do or it can be
for the many. But it always
is important for you to do
your part for the eventual
result to be that which
was hoped for.

So plan, prepare and have
hope in your future in
all the things that you do.
All that is done, do it
for his glory not your own.
