Forgiveness

 How easy is it to Forgive?

 This is something which 

many within

their lives have

at sometimes

struggled with.

How many times within

your life have you

either been asked to

forgive someone?

Or also how often

have you yourself

asked this of

another?

But sometimes forgiveness is

not always something

that is easily given

as it can be hard

if it comes from a 

great wrong done or

a great hurt caused.

There can be things that

can easily be forgiven,

then there can be others which 

we may find more difficult to do so.

But sometimes the forgiveness 

we offer is in

word only; it is not

true forgiveness.

God though, when

he forgives it is real,

it is true and it is 

complete forgiveness.

For us though, even

with those who belong

to the church, we can 

occasionally struggle to 

forgive something

that is necessary 

or something imagined.

Even when we know that

we should forgive someone

it still is not always 

easy to do so.

God in the Old Testament

pardoned sin, but 

through the completed

work upon the cross

of Christ Jesus

through his death and resurrection

he now gives full

forgiveness for sin.

Since he forgave us in this

way, we too should seek

to offer others that which

has been given to us.

Remember that firstly 

forgiveness is a choice,

it is something you decide 

to do and then

following this

you have to work at it.

To forgive someone

is to be as we should,

more Christ like;

so let us through

this seek to be 

more like him.
