TRUTH-

 Do we know it?

One thing we can say for certain
is that within our lives
we have not always known truth,
we have not always told the truth
and we have not always experienced truth.

We may not have always been true to ourselves
or true to what we believe;
Perhaps in some situations
we have not known what truth is.

However, when we ourselves
have not been truthful
we do know it,
but when others are not truthful with us
we do not always, at least at first,
realise this.

As Christians, we do know actual truth;
We realise who is truth,
and through the bible
we can understand the truth
of who he is.

We can see his truth
in his character and actions,
when he lived amongst us,
but also through the descriptions
of him throughout the Bible.

Jesus said 'I am the way the truth and the life';
he always spoke truth,
always acted in truth,
always guided others into truth.

In our lives as we read the Bible
we should seek truth,
and also when we realise
more of the truth,
we should seek to live in it.

    Yes amen. We should always follow Gods word and seek truth and understanding within our lives and in God's word.

Freedom

Freedom in our lives. When we think of freedom what comes to mind?     Do we think of those imprisoned?  Do we think of Freedom of choice? Do we think of Freedom of speech? Do we think of Freedom in and from troubles? Do we think of Freedom from debt? Do we think of Freedom from sin? Do we think of Freedom in Christ? There are perhaps many different things that come to mind in what many would consider as our day to day living, and also within our Christian walk. However, the two really are one, as our whole life is a walk with God. Something New

 Do you try anything new?  When a thing is new, it holds interest and can catch the attention of many. Whereas, when something is not new it needs sometimes a new way of doing it, something that will catch peoples' attention once again. What new things catch your attention? This can  be different for many people, a s people have different  interests, likes and dislikes. For some it can be a new car, for others it can be a new house, or possibly  for some it could be a new job. It may also be a new type of food which you have never tasted before, or a new hobby.
