Hate or Dislike
Are they right or wrong?
Sometimes we do use one of these words
to describe how we feel towards
something, someone or a situation we find ourselves in.
How much more often though
do we think either a dislike
or a hatred of something?
Is it wrong though to dislike or hate?
The answer would have to be yes
and then also no.
We all have likes and dislikes,
we may not like a certain type
of food or drink.
How many times have you heard
someone say that they
either dislike or hate their job,
or they dislike or
hate a colleague?
We could hate how someone
has or is being treated.
We possibly may hate how people
suffer in many different ways.
Not all of these are wrong but are
completely justified and right.
Whereas others there may have good
reason for, yet does that make
them still right?
As Christians, we know
that God himself does hate.
He hates sin
which comes in many different ways.
So hatred or dislike in themselves
are not wrong,
we just need more to see things,
people, situations and
also ourselves
more how the bible teaches us,
and therefore how Jesus wants
us to be and to live.
Words of wisdom. A very good analogy of hate/dislike. 👍
