Bank Holiday Weekends

  Days off

 One thing that all people look forward to is an extra day off work;
they book a long weekend away,
or just look forward to an extra days rest.

   Spoil

The unfortunate thing with looking forward to something
is that this can be spoilt by many unforeseen problems,
which can, if you have booked a time away,
be the weather, the location or possibly the accommodation 
One or the other has most likely happened to you.

   Looking forward

We as Christians sometimes have the same thing in our walk with God.
We look forward to things that we, or others have planned,
but then something happens to cause us to
think that this has been spoilt in some way,
possibly by things not going as we imagined. 

   Keep Looking Forward

How we cope with these dashed dreams and experiences,
we learn from them and learn not to 
have a false expectation of what we hope it will be;
we continue to look forwards in working and living for God.

In our weekends away or even holidays,
we enjoy what we can about them,
regardless of problems that may arise.

There's never enough TIME

 Where does time go?  One of the things that we  can always be certain of in life,  is that time passes.  Time doesn't always pass  in the way we want.  Why is that time seems to  at times pass very quickly,  yet at other times it goes  very slowly?  Usually this is because  during those times when  time seems to drag we are  perhaps doing something which  we do not enjoy or is monotonous.   Whereas upon other occasions  when time races away from us  is usually when we want something  to last longer and so because of this  it seems to go quickly.  Within church events and church life  this can also and very often is the case.  There can be things that need to be  done which we ourselves and  many others do not wish to do.  With this we either avoid doing them  or if we do actually decide to ...

Something New

 Do you try anything new?  When a thing is new, it holds interest and can catch the attention of many. Whereas, when something is not new it needs sometimes a new way of doing it, something that will catch peoples' attention once again. What new things catch your attention? This can  be different for many people, a s people have different  interests, likes and dislikes. For some it can be a new car, for others it can be a new house, or possibly  for some it could be a new job. It may also be a new type of food which you have never tasted before, or a new hobby.
